Official Rules & Regulations: Almost Sport Hackysack Speed trials

Format: Single-Elimination Bracket | Head-to-Head Speed Trials

Limit: 16 contestants

1. Tournament Overview
Welcome to the first-ever Almost Sport Online Hackysack Competition! This tournament pits players against each other in a head-to-head bracket format. Instead of judging based on style, this is a battle of speed, consistency, and performance under pressure.

2. The Timer Mechanic & Gameplay
Each round consists of a series of trick challenges.

The Clock: Both contestants start the round with exactly 1 minute (60 seconds) on their personal match timer.

The Turn: When a trick challenge is announced, the active player must attempt to successfully land that trick.

Time Deduction: The timer runs continuously during a player's attempts. The moment the trick is successfully landed, the clock stops. The total elapsed time for that turn is permanently subtracted from the player's timer.

The Next Challenge: Once both players have completed (or timed out on) the current trick, the referee issues the next trick challenge.

Winning Condition: The match continues through the trick list until one player's timer reaches 0:00. The player who runs out of time first loses, and the surviving player advances to the next round.

4. Video & Streaming Requirements
Framing: The player’s entire body, including feet and the floor, must be clearly visible in the camera frame at all times.

Lag/Disconnects: If a player disconnects mid-round, their timer will continue to run. It is highly recommended to have a stable internet connection.

Judging: A designated referee will have final say on whether a trick was successfully held/landed and run the timers for the competition
